Still Image: Task - Create a Portrait

In a group, we were told to create a portrait without a picture. My group and I decided to create a small instillation using a film camera, a note book and a film roll. We wanted the audience to question why this was created, why it is placed in this order. We want to engage the audience to think of these questions and come up with their own answers. One person said that when they saw it, they were curious as to what the film roles contained as they were used film roles but does not show the picture taken properly. Another person stated, they first focused on the film camera then the role of films. My group and I achieved our goal of engaging the audience for this task in creating a portrait without a picture.
